Training/ Educational Requirements
As professional writers, bloggers must be excellent communicators and need to understand what content most appeals to their audiences. Bloggers also have to be disciplined to produce high-quality research and writing, while trying to meet deadlines.

There are no specific educational or training requirements. However, self-employed bloggers are usually experts in the fields they blog about. They previously may have worked in a job related to their blog's topic. The only requirements are is to choose topics wisely and write about what you're knowledgeable about. Keep it unique so you can keep your viewers coming back for more!

Advantages:
The job market for bloggers is huge growing and finding employment or employing yourself is relatively easy.

They have complete creative control over their own content and set their  own schedules. Most self-employed bloggers make money through advertising on their websites.

Disadvantages:
Bloggers who are self-employed or who work with a small staff usually need experience with multimedia tools. Newspapers may have photographers and video editors on staff, but many bloggers lack these resources and produce the photos and videos themselves.

Earning a steady income from blogging may take some time due to having to build a large following and frequently put out interesting content in order to gain income. Bloggers are constantly searching for ways to monetize the work they put online. Even online advertising, the most common way to make money isn't a guaranteed source of revenue anymore. To view blogs, many people now use Rich Site Summary (RSS) feeds to see updates from their favorite websites all in one place. RSS feeds frequently remove advertisements from posts and don't count towards a web-page's traffic totals. This decreased traffic reduces the amount of money bloggers and web-comic artists make from advertisers. In response to the increasing use of RSS feeds, bloggers are searching for new ways to make money while continuing to put their content online for free.

The growth of the internet and the availability of simple web publishing tools have made it easy to share content online. Many people create websites as a hobby or as a way to share content online. Fashion bloggers put their work online in the hopes of attracting attention and building a following. Some bloggers however are able to make a living creating content for their websites. Their wages vary significantly depending on their employer and the size of their audience. Some bloggers post many times a day; others post less frequently. In their posts, bloggers occasionally use other media and content that aren't possible in print. Bloggers can be self-employed, employed by print media or other companies, or work as contractors.

They have complete creative control over their own content and set their own schedules. Most self-employed bloggers make money through advertising on their websites. The amount of money they make from ads depends on the number of times people visit their website, called "traffic". As traffic increases, advertisers pay bloggers more. Well-known bloggers may also make money through sponsorship, or product sales. When employed by traditional print media companies, such as newspapers and magazines, bloggers may write for both print and online editions. Many readers turn to the internet for breaking news, so bloggers often race to be first to post news.

Work Setting/ Conditions:
Bloggers have the ability to control almost every aspect of their careers and can spend any amount of time working from as little as 3 hours to as much as 14+ hours daily. Bloggers are not limited by restrictions and have the ability to create and design the content they publish.

Pay Ranges:
The pay scale of fashion bloggers is a wide range. They may do it for free or get paid a median of $60,000 a year.

Employment outlook:
 Bloggers are people who have a strong passion for fashion and keep a frequently updated online journal to share their passion called a "fashion blog" to share for viewers. Fashion blogging is a new profession that is flourishing and fashion bloggers can earn a lot of money by either publishing their posts through paid blogging services or become a web publisher who creates their own blogs.

WTH was H&M Thinking?!

What the hell was H&M thinking for putting a young black boy in a "coolest monkey in the jungle" sweater and whoever thought of coming up with this stupid sweater?! When I saw this controversial post while scrolling through my Facebook news-feed, I was livid! First of all, who allowed this shenanigan to go on? Who's in control of these type of things and why didn't anyone stop them? H&M, we don't need an apology, we need compassionate adults with reason to stop these type of things from ever happening in the first place!

On January 12, 2018 in a FirstPost Article posted, 
"Due to the mass outrage over the advertisement, H&M has stated that they would pull the jumper from all of their outlets. The advertisement was branded "racist" and "unacceptable" by many, including several celebrities like The Weeknd, LeBron James and Diddy."

 In response to the outcry of millions who have found this picture severely disturbing, I am right with them! First of all, why the hell did H&M wait until there was a mass outrage to make a public apology? This is an example of the underlining racism that is still alive and well in the fashion industry. Do we want to support companies like these that allows such blatant racist imagery. 

Why is this wrong?
For those who are still confused:
For years, black people or people of African decent have been dehumanized and have been seen as equivalent or direct descendants of monkeys and apes and that is far from the truth!We as African Americans will always have to break barriers, prove people wrong and work even harder to prove we belong but guess what, that’s what we love because the benefits at the end of the road are so beautiful!

The Necessities of a Fashionista

Creating a popular blog takes both hard work and luck. There are already many blogs online; to distinguish yours, develop your own style or become an expert. If your content is unique and entertaining, casual browsers are more likely to become regular readers.

The main duty of a fashion blogger is to promote the newest and trendiest fashion for either corporate or independent designers. Through their blogging, they conceptualize the latest trends by writing, editing and uploading pictures of their style. through their blogs, they publish unique and interesting fashion concepts in order for their followers to be hungry for more content. Fashionistas gain followers through sharing their passion for fashion with the world.

- strong writing abilities
- a keen eye for fashion
- a skilled photographer
- stay current with fashion trends

most importantly, must have a really huge passion for fashion

Update regularly: The more frequently you add content, the more regular readers will come back to your website. If you post several times a day, regular readers might  check the site multiple times, increasing your web traffic. This doesn't mean that you must update the website constantly but if you have a published update schedule, stick to it. If readers see that you're not following your own schedule, they might stop visiting your site.

Engage your Audience: Communicate with your readers through e-mail, message boards or social media. If your audience feels personally invested in your blog, they're more likely to read it regularly and support you financially and the more you understand your audience, the better you'll be able to create content and products that appeal to them.
